Pastor's Class: Walking in Newness of Life
Our brand-new Pastor’s Class begins this Sunday morning at 9am.
Pastor Jesse DiMartino will be teaching on Walking in Newness of Life. This exciting study will help you take your relationship with God to a deeper place this year — regardless of how long you’ve been working on it!
The class will run for the next 6 weeks (through February 14th). If you haven’t already registered at the Information Station (located in the mall before and after services), give the office a call at (941) 377-6401 and let us know you’re coming… or just show up!
See you Sunday morning in the Chapel at 9am!

The Gospel According to Scrooge
Don’t miss this powerful dramatic presentation — a new twist on the classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge! A must-see for the entire family, Church on the Rock is proud to present “The Gospel According to Scrooge” at our Palmetto Campus on Saturday, December 12th and Sunday, December 13th at 7pm nightly.
Tickets are available before and after services or by calling our office. Admission is $5 for adults. Children under 12 admitted free of charge.
Church on the Rock Palmetto is located at 1401 14th Avenue West. We look forward to seeing you!

Don’t forget that this Sunday we’re having a big “Family Reunion” service in Sarasota. The 2 services normally held at Church on the Rock in Palmetto will be canceled, and the entire Church on the Rock family will be gathering for the 10:30 worship service at the Sarasota campus.
And also don’t forget to bring a dish big enough for your family and then some! We’ll be having an old-fashioned Dinner on the Grounds right after the worship service, and it’s going to be a great time of food and family fellowship!
You may want to arrive early to get a good seat! We’re expecting a significant crowd. Looking forward to seeing you there!

The big day is quickly approaching! Convergence Sunday, November 1st will be a historic day in the Manasota region. Freedom Center will be joining with the Church On Rock Family this Sunday in a “Kingdom Union”.
We invite you and your family to be part of this historic day. Invite your friends and family out to experience the presence of God and hear Pastor Jesse’s message, “A New Day Is Here.”

The Story
Dr. Michael Maiden
This union is the result of God’s plan involving mutual relationship Dr. Michael Maiden, Sr. Pastor, Church For The Nations in Phoenix, AZ.
Dr. Maiden’s relationship with Pastors Matthews & DiMartino became the bridge into courtship, leading to this celebrated union. The unique spiritual and relational qualities of both Freedom Center and Church On The Rock will blend into “one family” and we expect to be a powerful force for the Kingdom Of God, in the Manasota region.
Two Become One
Jesse & Heather DiMartino, Campus Pastors: Church on the Rock Sarasota
Church On The Rock has a north campus located in Palmetto, FL and a south campus in Sarasota, FL.
Pastors Jesse & Heather DiMartino will be Campus Pastors, leading the Sarasota Church family and bringing with them the members of Freedom Center, the congregation they have led for the past 4 and a half years in Sarasota.
Senior Pastors, Church on the Rock Palmetto & Sarasota
Pastors Tad Mathews and Ruth Mathews will serve as oversight and remain as Senior Pastors over both the Palmetto and Sarasota campuses.
We are experiencing a great change and believe many lives will impacted and restored through this “amalgamation!” God is leading us on a journey that shifts the Freedom Center and Pastors Jesse & Heather into a new location, pastoring a blended body, which we are excited about. The church name and identity will remain, Church On The Rock. We have an inclusive approach, everyone is welcome and has a place to love God together. This truly in a “new day” with a harvest opportunity in front of us! We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, November 1st.
